         Lancaster

The town was founded in 1800 by Ebenezer Zane when he laid out Zane's Trace - one of Ohio's early roads. It has been home to many notable Ohioans and, for this reason, has not one but four  National Register Historic Districts.

The tour starts or ends south of Lancaster at the junction of Rt. 33 and Tarkiln Road.
