WPA This isn't the first Rt. 33 tour. An earlier one was created during the Depression by the WPA (Works Progress Administration) Writer's Project. In the tour book it's Tour 20. Others who followed this route during the depression were photographers for the Farm Security Administration. The photos here are ones that they took in southeast and central Ohio in the late 1930s. Their photos capture a way of life that a few in the region still remember |
